We have been in the firearms business since 2007. First as Chiquita Guns in Cape Coral, FL; then as GUNS on 41 in Fort Myers, FL and now as Southeast Gun Buyers. During that time, we have seen constant and rapid change in the nature of the firearms industry. We have bought, sold, transferred, appraised, shipped & consigned over 18,000 firearms. We have witnessed the market swings, panics and gluts in the firearms industry that have occurred since that time; from the handgun and “assault weapons” panic of 2012-13, the ammunition shortages of 2013-15, and the current industry downturn of 2016-present.
